Now Accepting Visual Submissions
EarthSpeak, a new online and in print literary journal, labors under the belief that a healthy and engaged consciousness with the natural world has the ability to deepen and enrich the well-being of the individual and in turn society as a whole.
Now accepting submissions for its first issue, EarthSpeak seeks poems, essays and short stories that reflects the artist's interaction with the natural world, whether a commentary on the necessity of conservation, seasonal rhythms or on the alienation of modern society from the world around it.
Issues of the Journal will be posted online for free and for all to read on a seasonal basis ( our first issue “ Autumn 2009” will be posted at season’s end roughly around December 15th) and downloadable e-book versions will be made available for two dollars via our webstore (coming soon). Out of that two dollars one will be kept to help sustain the magazine, the other will be donated to a conservation based organization (more on that pending).
By bringing together the thoughts and feelings of different artists concentrated on the task of appreciating and sustaining our planet, EarthSpeak hopes to foster an enhanced awareness of the relationship we share with the natural world on a physical, psychological and spiritual level.
Please be a part of this momentous task and consider submitting to EarthSpeak Magazine today!
